Wilma D. Granlund

Wilma D. Granlund, 84, of Velma passed away Thursday, March 28th, 2019 in the Country Club Care Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Memorial services will be 2:30 PM Saturday in the New Velma Cemetery with Reverend Travis Stewart officiating. Cremation services were provided by the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

Wilma wa born October 9, 1934 at Ft. Madison, Iowa the daughter of Carl and Frances Ruth (Byers) Goddard. She and John Edward Granlund were married at Las Vegas and he preceded her in death in 1996. She enjoyed reading her bible, listening to music, watching old movies and she was a member of the Velma Assembly of God Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents, father who raised her Ira C. (Cliff) Lanfair, son Kenneth Granlund, daughter Peggy Schults, grandson P.J. Schults and her sister Peggy Phillips.

Survivors include her sons Dennis Granlund of Duncan and Mark Granlund and his wife Elizabeth; daughters Denise Martin and Karen Heber all of California as well as numerous grand and great grandchildren.
