William Joseph Johnson, 30, of Duncan passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 in the Duncan Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be held 9:00AM Thursday in the Fort Sill National Veterans Cemetery at Elgin with escort provided by the Patriot Guard and full military honors provided by the Stephens County Combined Honors Team. A memorial service will then be help at 1:30 PM in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home with Daryle Schmitt officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Mr. Johnson was born April 29, 1981 at Haltom City, Texas the son of Bruce Alan and Tamara Janell Beard Johnson. He Served his country in the United States Army. He and Glynna D. Harris were married on October 21, 2006 at Comanche, Oklahoma. He loved to fish and loved spending time with his family especially his daughter. Survivors include his wife Glynna D. Johnson of the home in Duncan, his daughter Nickole Lynn Johnson of the home in Duncan; his mother Tamara Janell Coder of Decatur, Arkansas; his step father Thomas Coder of Decatur, Arkansas; mother and father-in-law Glen and Lynn Harris of Comanche; brothers Christopher Johnson, Benjamin Coder, Samuel Coder and Daniel Coder and Dylin Johnson; his sister Rebekah J and her husband Stephen; grandparents Ralph and Rose Wiggins and Bill and Kathy Beard.
