William C. Jackson

William C. Jackson, 84, of Duncan passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in the Country Club Care Nursing Center. William was born July, 11, 1927 at Wilson, Oklahoma the son of William Reuben and Ida Lourene (Jennings) Jackson. He and Myrtle Brumblow were married at Talco, Texas in 1949 and she preceded him in death on December 30, 1978. He was a member of the Chisholm Trail Church of Christ, he was a gardener, tilled for people and was active in the Chisholm Trail Church of Christ Food Bank. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and one brother. Survivors include three sons Larry Jackson of Red Bud, Texas, Nick Jackson of Duncan, Oklahoma and Phillip Jackson of West Columbia, Texas; two daughters Brenda Herring of Hurst, Texas and Diann Coggins of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three brothers Joseph Jackson of West Columbia, Texas, Reubin Jackson of Ramayor, Texas and Billy Joe Jackson of Manvel, Texas; three sisters Lorene Yellott of Cummings, Georgia, Ruth Travis of Brazaria, Texas and Doris Walton of Katy, Texas; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
