Wanda Mae Hudson, 79, of Duncan went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 9, 2016 in Duncan, Oklahoma. Services will be 10:30 AM Thursday in the Gospel Beams Church with Reverend Ray Ledbetter officiating. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Wednesday. Wanda was born May 26, 1937 at Comanche, Oklahoma the daughter of Claude and Wahneeta (Riddles) Lumley. She graduated from the Empire High School in 1956. She married the love of her life Freddy Ray Hudson at Wichita Falls, Texas on August 6, 1955 and he preceded her in death on November15, 2003. She worked as a seamstress for the Haggar Slacks Company for over 22 years and was employed by a quality control inspection company. She was an active, faithful member of the Gospel Beams Church where she served numerous church ministries. She enjoyed farming, raising cattle, yard work and she loves chows and butterflies. She was also preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister Joyce Faye Lumley and a son Ron Hudson. Survivors include her daughter Keyla Jones and her husband Charles of Duncan; her son Gerald Hudson and his wife LaWanda of Duncan; grandchildren Derek Jones, Delisa Morgan and her husband Lyndal, Merica Corr and her husband Bryce, Casey Stephens, Jerry Marshall and his wife Medara, Heather Worthley, Kelly Pena and her husband Jesse, and Tikara Hudson; twelve great grandchildren and baby Wesley Morgan will arrive in the fall; daughter-in-law Michelle Hudson of Duncan and foster son David Tucker and his wife Hifumi and their children Christine and Michael of Mckinney, Texas and numerous extended family members. Pallbearers will be Derek Jones, Lyndal Morgan, Bryce Corr, Gus Gardner, Bill Jones and Joel Ledbetter. Online condolences may be made at www.bailespolk.com
