Tomasa Navarro, 64, of Duncan passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011 in the Integris Baptist Hospital. Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday in the Prima Iglesia Bautista Church with Reverend Rigoberto Varela officiating. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Tomasa was born March 7, 1947 at Civdad Juarez, Mexico the daughter of Edmundo and Josefina Diaz Rojas. She came to Duncan from Mexico and attended the Prima Iglasia Bautista Church. She was preceded in death by her father Edmundo Diaz and two sons Manuel and Alejandro Valdez. Survivors include her husband Jose Navarro, Sr. of the home; two sons Jose Navarro, Jr. of Duncan and Edmundo Valdez of Houston, Texas; seven daughters Sofia Navarro of Duncan, Rosa Elena Valdez of Duncan, Adriana Valdez of Duncan, Bertha Valdez, Lupe Valdez, Delia Valdez and Nidia Valdez all of Juarez, Mexico and 40 grandchildren.
