Thomas Wilbur Guest of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away February, 7, 2024

Services will be held on Saturday 24th at 11:00 a.m.at Bailes-Polk Funeral Home .

He was born to Thomas E. Guest and Olive L. (Utecht) Guest on November 10, 1945, in Johnston, PA.

He attended Ferndale High School in Johnstown, PA. and went to Oklahoma State University on a football scholarship.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1969 and a Masters in Personnel and Guidance in Higher Education in 1971.

Tom began his career at Oklahoma State University and moved to Kutztown, PA, as Director of Resident Life. He ended up in sales and management where he helped revolutionize the newspaper industry by converting newspapers to the internet. He traveled a lot with work and lived in Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, California, and Indiana.

Tom loved traveling, sports, spending time with family and discussing life events. In the last few years of his life he also enjoyed sitting by the pool and admiring nature. He spent his final years in Broken Arrow with his significant other Joann Smith .

He is survived by his daughters Lindsey Guest, Jennifer and her husband Sean Hurley of Duncan; Sister Donna Livesay of Bedford, Pa;

and nephew Scott Livesay of Taneytown, MD. He had 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
