Terrie Ann Case

Terrie Ann Case, 56, of Comanche, Oklahoma, died peacefully with her loving family at her side, Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the Comanche County Memorial Hospital, Lawton. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 26, 2:00 p.m., at the Ray of Hope Church, Duncan, Oklahoma, the Reverend Mike McCord officiating. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Comanche under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Visitation hours will be on Monday, July 25 from 6:00 " 8:00 p.m., at Bailes-Polk Funeral Home, 910 West Oak Avenue, Duncan. She was born on December 14, 1954, in Duncan, Oklahoma, of parents Grady and Dorothy McCord, of Comanche. She was married to Kenneth Case, was the proud mother of Joshua Case, and proud grandmother of Tyler and Taylor Case. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Julia Case, grandchildren Tyler and Taylor Case, parents Grady and Dorothy McCord, sisters Debi McCord, Brenda Cobb, Pam Hopkins, Jamie Schroeder, brother, David McCord, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Case. Terrie was a faithful member of the Ray of Hope Church, over the years being a Sunday School teacher for hundreds of children. She was a paraprofessional in the Comanche public schools, and worked with special needs children, including signing for deaf children. She loved quilting and decorating, especially for Christmas, and was known for playing Christmas music throughout the year. Pallbearers will be Todd and Mason Schroeder, Ray and Derrick Hopkins, Stephen Hendrickson, W.R. Yarbrough, Bryan Fisher and Larry Sullins. The family is grateful to all for their thoughts and prayers at this time of loss
