Teddy Ray Cox

Teddy Ray Cox, 65, of Marlow, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, October 1, 2023 in the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the Bethesda Church of God with Reverend Johnny Grey and Reverend Harold Metheny. Interment will follow in the Hennepin Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 5-7 on Wednesday.

Teddy was born August 19, 1958, in Duncan, Oklahoma, the son of Elvin Ray and Lawanna Joy (Casey) Cox. He graduated from Elmore City High School in 1976. He and Novella (Barnett) Gibbon were married October 29, 2015. He worked in well service for Key Energy Services. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, collecting guns, going to auctions, talking and loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother Mikey Cox.

Survivors include his wife Novella Cox of Marlow, Oklahoma; father Elvin Ray Cox and wife Louranna of Ratliff City, Oklahoma; sons Jeff Cox and wife Amanda of Lindsey, Oklahoma, T.J. Cox and wife Krystal of Marlow, Oklahoma and Michael Cox and wife Sarah of Duncan, Oklahoma; step-children Flint Gibbon and wife Nichole of Duncan, Oklahoma, Jordan Gibbon of Duncan, Oklahoma and Sierra Trotter and husband Daniel of Guthrie, Oklahoma; grandchildren Mekayla Cox, Curtis Cox and wife Sarah, Hannah Cox and spouse Savannna, Garrett Cox, Weston Cox, Jordyn Cox, Delaney Gibbon, Brixton Gibbon, Judah Trotter, Taryn Kesler, Bentley Kesler, Zoey Gomez and Lila Gomez; great grandchildren Ian Waggoner, Embery Cox and Curtis cox.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Cox, T.J. Cox, Michael Cox, Flint Gibbon, Jordan Gibbon and Curtis Cox

Honorary Pallbearers will be Garrett Cox, Weston Cox, Taryn Kesler and Bently Kesler
