Sonya Christine Maxey

Sonya Christine Maxey, 42, passed away Wednesday, July 9th, 2014 in the Duncan Regional Hospital. Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Neathery of he House of Prayer in Newark, Texas officiating. Christy was born October 7, 1971 at Gainesville, Texas the daughter of Glennis and Sylvia (Lidbury) Boatwright. She graduated from the Bray Doyle High School. She was a faithful believer in the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Laurie Boatwright. She is survived by her children Shea Powell, Dalton Powell and Ashton Powell; a granddaughter Langston "Honey Bunny" and siblings Kathy Frias, Janice Pringle, Debbie Brock, Bill Boatwright, Jim Boatwright and Chad Briley as well as numerous brother and sister-in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
