Sherry Smith

Sherry Smith, 59, of Duncan passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at her home in Duncan. Services will be 2:00 PM in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Scott Clark and Reverend Billy Morgan officiating. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Comanche. Sherry was born July 5, 1953 in Lawton, Oklahoma the daughter of Sam BuddyRouton and Lorene (Ward) Canada. She married John Lynn Campbell on December 31, 1969 in Olney, Texas and he preceded her in death September 10, 1970. She later married Dennis Lynn Smith December 8, 1989 in Waurika, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death January 5, 1997. Sherry was an LPN fo 34 years and a member of the Freedom Biker Church of Duncan. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother Thomas Gene Routon, a granddaughter Taylor Leigh Pickard, three uncles and one aunt. Survivors include two daughters Joyce Kimbro and her husband Jackie of Alvord, Texas and Cordie Boyd and her husband SFC Heith of Ft. Irwin, Califonia; two sons Cael Pickard and his wife Tersea of Electra, Texas and Johnny Moody of Ft. Worth, Texas; two sisters Debbie Wilson and her husband Jerry of Duncan and Tina Haile and her husband Reverend Jimmy Haile of Rockdale, Texas; two brothers Russell Routon and his wife Donna of Megargel, Texas and Bennie Canada and his wife Carrie of Olney, Texas; a sister-in-law Dabbie Jo Routon of Terrell, Texas; eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren as wel as numerous nieces nephews and many friends. Pallbearers will be Jackie Kimbro, Sammy Burns, Jordan Haile, Heith Boyd, Rowdy Routon and Deewayne Haile. Online condolences may be made at www.bailespolk.com.
