Selma Eloise George, 87, of Duncan passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in the Country Club Care Nursing Home. Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday in the Bethesda Church of God with Reverend Harold Metheny officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Eloise was born August 10, 1928 at Durham, Arkansas the daughter of Sillas Miller and Lora Josie (Johnson) Carter. She worked as a short order cook in California before coming to Duncan in 1987. She retired from the Stephens County Court House Where he worked in the maintenance department. She was a member of the Bethesda Church of God, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening and cooking for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sister. She is survived by three sons Jerry Don George and his wife Jennifer of Yakima, Washington, Randy Paul George of Ventura, California and Ronald Ray George of Corcoran, California; grandson Terrance George of Oakland, California; one sister Cloedean Light of Arkansas and numerous nieces and nephews.
