Robert Willamson

Robert Williamson, 79, of Velma passed away Monday, April 16th, 2018 at his home near Velma.

Services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel with Ladd Polk officiating. Interment will follow in the New Velma Cemetery.

Robert was born August 7, 1938 at Larned, Kansas the son of Bill and Madona (Bryer) Williamson. He and Wanda Bryer were married at Cody, Wyoming on July25, 1968. He was a handyman, enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing guitar, and talking to people all over the world on his ham radio. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister and a daughter Tracy Mills Clay.

Survivors include his wife Wanda Williamson of the home near Velma; children Charmin Eaves and husband Jimmy of Velma, Misty Smith and Husband Gary of Houston, Amanda Newman and husband Chris of Hallsville, Texas and Waylon Williamson and wife Crystal of Watson, Illinois; a sister Bea Worton of Forgen, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
