R. J. Walker, 90, of Duncan passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 in the Meridian Nursing Home. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. R. J. was born June 10, 1926 at Duncan, Oklahoma. He was a hard worker, tearing down buildings and homes, until completely loosing his eye sight a few years back. Most people in Duncan will remember seeing him either riding his bike or effortlessly pushing two barrels down the street. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and wife, Orvella. He is survived by three loving sisters Ruth Gipson of Stratford, Carolyn Crowder and husband Jimmy and Frances Melott of Duncan and numerous nieces and nephews.
