Richard J. Hamblin, 66, of Duncan passed away Monday, February 8th, 2016 at his home in Duncan. Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Bailes Polk Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Tracy Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in th Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes - Polk Funeral Home. Richard was born February 4, 1950 at Ventura, California the son of John and Louise York. He and Betty Jean Ballard were married at Crossfield, Tennessee on September 26, 1978 and she preceded him in death on February 27, 2014. He was the owner and operator of Richards Handyman Service in California before moving to Duncan in 2008. He enjoyed camping, collecting model cars, having coffee with friends and spending time with his family. He was also preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his daughters Cassandra Dismuke of Louisiana, Dawn Hamblin and Dana Hamblin both of Duncan; sons Charles Hamblin and James Hamblin both of Ventura, California and Billy Hubble of Atoka, Oklahoma; 21 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a special niece Mary Tribble of Duncan.
