Releta Ann Gordon

Releta Gordon passed away July 18, 2016 at her home surrounded by family and friends following a long battle with cancer that she fought and stayed strong the whole time. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Releta was born October 24, 1955 in Marlow, Oklahoma to Jerry and Freeda Underwood. She lived in Marlow for a time as well as Texas but spent most of her younger years overseas in Libya, Malaysia and Singapore. Singapore was her second home that she truly loved. She graduated from the Singapore American School in 1973. Releta came back to the States after graduating high school and met the love of her life, William Gordon, in Comanche. They married October 29, 1976 at Holy City. They had 2 children, Josh and Jessie. Releta had 5 grandkids Hailey Griggs , Kailey Griggs , Thomas Griggs , Dylan Griggs and Isis Eitenior. Releta loved to travel and visited many places over the years. Travelling was her passion. She loved being with her family and spending time with friends. She enjoyed visits with her cousin Mary and good friend Bernadette. She loved her grandkids, they brought her a lot of joy over the years, she loved watching them grow and cherished every minute she was able to be with them. Releta is survived by her husband, William Gordon, son Josh Gordon, daughter-in-law Deedee Gordon, and their daughter Isis, her daughter Jessie Gordon, son-in-law Jimmy Griggs, and their kids Hailey, Kailey, Thomas and Dylan.
