Reba Lois Boerstler Reba Lois Boerstler fell asleep in death on Tuesday, November 19, 2013, but looks forward to the resurrection! (John 5:28) She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Montie Harold Boerstler; two children, Harold Eugene Boerstler and wife, Beverly Ann Boerstler of Amarillo, Texas; and Janice Ann Wood of Longview, Texas. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Leah Williams of Amarillo, Texas; Christie Boerstler of Odessa, Texas; Dawn Albertson and Dean Wood of Longview Texas, and thirteen great grandchildren. Reba and Montie grew up in Jenks, Oklahoma, and were married in Muskogee, Oklahoma on December 8, 1941. They became parents of three children, Harold, Janice, and Billie Kaye. Reba was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Birdie Ilene Godsey, three brothers, two sisters, and her daughter, Billie Kaye Boerstler. In addition to being a loving, devoted Christian wife and mother, Reba never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone; she was a loyal, caring friend and companion. Also, during her life, Reba learned tap dancing, loved crocheting, and was an avid bowler. She was on the women"s traveling bowling team at DunMar Lanes for a number of years. She also worked at Anthony"s Department Store, Jones Supermarket, and was a dental assistant for Dr. Robert Shick. Reba was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 21, 2013, beginning at 9:00AM at Bailes-Polk Funeral Home, 910 West Oak, Duncan, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma, 9:00 AM Friday. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army.
