Randolph Richard "Duke" Berthelot,91, of Duncan passed away Thursday, April 14th, 2016 at his home in Duncan. Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday in the Bethesda Church of God with Reverend Harold Metheny officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM in the Ft. Sill National Cemetery. Military honors will be conferred by the Stephens County Honors Team and Service will be escorted by the Patriot Guard. Duke was born March 5, 1925 at Holden Louisiana the son of Prosper Pierre and Gloria Opal Lee (Persich) Berthealot. He graduated from the Baton Rouge High School. He and Letha Watson were married were married at Dixon, Missouri on June 5, 1947 and she preceded him in death November 3, 1998 he later married Rashell LaVelle Copeland were married at Lawton, Oklahoma and she preceded her in death on March 21, 2010. He worked as a lineman for various phone companies and retire from the Altell company as a manager in the Velma Office. He enjoyed feeding birds, collecting eagles and marbles and working in the yard on his rose bushes. He was a faithful member of the Bethesda Church of God and was also preceded in death by his parents, one sister and a grandson. Survivors include his daughter Kathy Reed of Duncan; sons Rich Berthelot of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Dan Berthelot of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Chris Berthelot of Kinta, Oklahoma and Greg Berthelot of Farmington, New Mexico; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
