R B Moore

R.B. Moore 87, of Duncan, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 while at Duncan Regional Hospital. Services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday at Ray of Hope Church with Pastor Mike McCord officiating and Pastor Matt Chambers assisting. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. R.B. was born July 31, 1933 in Fullbright, Texas to Robert E. Lee and Ruby Etta Beatrice (Pigg) Moore. He and Christine Franklin were married in Henrietta, Texas on December 30, 1986. R.B. retired from the Duncan Regional Hospital Engineering Department in 1995 and spent his retirement years as a carpenter and handyman. He was a faithful member of the Ray of Hope Church, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and playing dominos. R.B. was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Debbie Trusty. Survivors include his wife, Christine, of the home in Duncan; son Russell Moore and wife Cassie of Duncan; daughter Becky Wilkinson of Friendswood, Texas; grandchildren DeLayna Trusty, Nathan Wilkinson, Lanna and Mike Barajas, Sarah and Kenny Taylor, Blaine Hillin, Kate Hillin, Dylan Lane, Conner Lane, Amber Lane, and numerous great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jack Everett, Brian Stogsdill, Mark Carr, Bryan Fisher, Ricky Hyde, and Kenny Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Lemons, Lane Franklin, Larry Wagner, and his domino buddies Paul McElroy, Sonny Webb, Jack James, Larry Noble, and Bill Nelson.
