Peggy Ruth Goff

Peggy Ruth Goff, 80, of Duncan passed away Tuesday, December 14th, 2010 at her home in Duncan. Service will be 10:00 AM Thursday in the Bethesda Church of God with Reverend Harold Metheny officiating. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Comanche under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Peggy was born June 16, 1930 at Corum, Oklahoma the daughter of Otto B. and Faye Pearl Garrett Seida. She and Travis Wayne Goff were married at Wichita Falls, Texas December 4, 1946 and he preceded in death on March 9, 2000. She attended the Bethesda Church of God, She enjoyed making jewelry, going to the senior citizens nutrition center and attending Gospel singing. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Janettie Johnson, a grandson Matthew Mayes, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include two daughters Jean Sampley and her husband Rick and Carolyn Cline and her husband Gary all of Duncan; a sister Kay Riggle and her husband Junior of Duncan; ten grandchildren Gina Johnson, Waylon Johnson, Gary Lee Cline, Alex Cline, Richard Hensley, Becky Suson, Dawn Taylor, Tracy Sampley, Ricky Lee Sampley and Cristal Sampley; 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Pallbearers will Waylon Johnson, Richard Hensley, Ricky Lee Sampley, Gary Lee Cline, Alex Cline and James Suson. Honoray Pallbearers will be Derek Suson, James Taylor, Bladen Mayes and Zane Mayes.
