Patsy Green

Patsey Ann Green, (79) of Duncan, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at home on July 14, 2023. She was born in Paducah, Texas to E. L. Willingham and Jackie Spurlock on June 16, 1944.

Patsey married Roy Albert Green in her early youth. She birthed two sons, Norman LeRoy Green, passed on 2020, and Robert Lynn Green of Duncan. She had one brother Aubrey Willingham of Texas, passed, a sister, Linda Gleason of Duncan. Her great niece, Sarah Willingham of Texas. Her granddaughters LeeAnne and Lindsey Green of Duncan and Marlow, and her great grandchildren.

Patsey enjoyed sewing, garage selling, a good gossip on the phone with her dear friends, her novels by Nora Roberts, and spending what time she could with the family she had. She would open her home to anyone and make sure they had a full belly. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she was known throughout Duncan to have hung her Christmas tree up on her ceiling to make room for presents. She visited many places throughout her life and supported a family Pilot Car business, P&R Flag Car operations, which ends with her legacy.

The Green's invite friends and family to her celebration of life at Bailes-Polk Funeral Home in Duncan, Ok on Friday, August 4th, 2023; at 10 a.m. The family and any who choose to follow will leave the Funeral Home at 11am to place Patsey beside Roy at Ft. Sills National Military Cemetery at 1pm. Arrival will be 10-15 minutes for restroom breaks and stretching after the drive.
