Oscar Lee Humphrey, 80, of Duncan passed away Monday, June 18, 2012 in the Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton. Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in the Immanuael Baptist Church with Reverend Ronald Boyd officiating. Interment will be in the Henderson Harris Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Tuesday. Oscar was born April 17, 1932 at Hominy, Oklahoma the son of Aurthor and Estella (Miles) Humphrey. He graduated from the Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa in 1950. He served in the United States Army. He was an active faithful member of the Antioch Baptist Church, loved to fish, loved cowboy movies and was "Pa Pa" to many besides his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and Herbert and Antione and a son Aubrey Humphrey. Survivors include three sons Oscar "Skip" Humphrey, Jr. of Los Angeles, California, Rodger Humphrey of Duncan, Oklahoma and Peter Augerbright of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; three daughters Renee White and her husband Ivan and Carol Shaw all of Los Angeles, Califonia and Renee Blunt and her husband John of Duncan, Oklahoma; two brothers Glen Humphrey of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Bobby Humphrey of Cushing, Oklahoma; a sister Arnetta Humphrey of Hominy, Oklahoma as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
