Oleta Lynn

Oleta Marie Lynn, 81, of Velma passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 in the Duncan Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the Claud Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. The Family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home in Duncan from 6-8 PM on Wednesday. Oleta was born August 18, 1930 in Rural Stephens County, Oklahoma the daughter of Pink and Pearl Davis Cowan. She and Billy Ray Lynn were married at Wichita Falls, Texas on February 21, 1948 and he preceded her in death on October 18, 1995. She was of the Baptist Faith, love to crochet and spend time with her family. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include two sons Bruce Lynn and his wife Paula of Velma and Danny Lynn and his wife Jane of Velma; a daughter Janice Reynolds and her husband Dale of Velma; three sisters Audie Allred of Duneden, Florida, Modena Allred and her husband Clayton of Velma and Thelma Clyde Jackson and her husband Don of Choctaw, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Jerry Kirkpatrick, Allen Kirkpatrick, Bobby McCown, David Allred, Brian Foster and Jacob Webb. Online condolences may be made at www.bailespolk.com
