Oleta Faye Wright

Oleta Faye Wright, 92, of Duncan passed from this life Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at her home in Duncan. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Comanche with Reverend Mike Johnston officiating. Services are under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Oleta was born August 28, 1928 in Ralls, Texas the daughter of Richard Bartley and Bertie (Franklin) Harrell. She and Melvin Junior Wright were married at Dequeen, Arkansas on May 21, 1946 and he preceded her in death on December 5, 2003. She worked as a retail sale clerk for the R & S Drug Store retiring in the 1990’s. She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings Bill, Hubert, Elmer, Johnnie, Roy, Russell, Rayburn, and Melvin Harrell, Ida Glenn, Juanita Criswell and granddaughter Cassie Fondren. Survivors include her daughters Sherrie Ray and husband Allen of Carnage, Oklahoma and Sandra Lindesmith and Chet Rice of Duncan, Oklahoma; Son Albert Junior Wright of Duncan, Oklahoma; grandchildren Michael Skeen, Zachary Payne, and Patrick Lindesmith; great grandchildren Hadin Morris and Ella Stidham.
