Norma Wood

Norma Estelle Wood, 90, of Duncan, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019 in the Grace Living Center in Norman, Oklahoma.

Services will be held at Parkview Baptist Church, Duncan, Oklahoma at 1:00 PM this Friday, Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Norma was born February 16, 1929 at Wewoka, Oklahoma, the daughter of Henry and Hazel (Smith) Allred. She and Bobby Gene Wood were married at Ardmore, Oklahoma on September 12, 1947. Bobby preceded her in death in 1966. She worked as a bookkeeper for the city of Duncan for over 20 years and was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, spending time with family and playing "Old Sol".

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Randell Lee, parents and sister Melba Geyer.
Survivors include her sons Lyndal Wood and his wife Melissa of Houston, Texas and Roy Wood and his wife Amy of Norman, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jennifer, Ashley, Bobby, Kevin, Ryan, Greyson and seven great grandchildren.
