Nila Faye (Andrews) Brown, 78, of Duncan passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020 in the Duncan Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Faye was born February 26, 1942 in Wichita Falls, Texas the daughter of Walter Lee and Ila Dee (Senn) Andrews. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School. She married the love of her life, Harold Utah Brown, on December 31, 1963 in Wichita Falls. She and Harold made their home in Dallas, Texas until retiring to Duncan, OK in 1991. During her career, she worked as a mortgage banker for many years and was president of the Dallas Association of Professional Mortgage Women. In addition to her biggest joy of spending time with her family, she also enjoyed working in the garden, painting, and quilting. Harold preceded her in death on June 15, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers David and Carlton, half- brother Marion and a step-grandson Emerson Archer. Survivors include her children Bob Brown and wife Barbara of Mabank, Texas, Randy Brown and wife Andra Archer of Denver, Colorado, Danny Brown of Duncan, Oklahoma and Shannon Truax and husband Travis of Duncan, Oklahoma and grandchildren Ren Contreras and wife Sarah of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Olivia Contreras, Lucas Contreras and Danica Contreras all of Duncan, Oklahoma, step-grandson Travis Truax Jr of Bozeman, Montana and step-granddaughter Amber Squire and husband Johnathon Squire of Front Royal, Virginia. In addition, Faye leaves behind many extended family members, who whether related by blood or not, were special to her and will remember her for the energetic and fun-loving person she was. Cremation services under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.
