Nellie Mae Bryant

Nellie Mae Bryant, 97, Duncan passed away Saturday, March 1st, 2014 in the Marlow Manor Nursing Center. Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 4, 2014 in the Bailes - Polk Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery. Nellie was born at Blevins, Arkansas on December 26th, 1916 the daughter of Wood O. and Birdie Lee (Waterson) Jones. She and Virgil Mason Bryant were married January 14, 1940 at Lawton, Oklahoma. She loved to travel in the motor home and fish at various lakes. She loved spending time with her family and was a life long member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by parents, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her husband Virgil Bryant of the home; two sons Jerry Bryant and his wife Mary of Wheatridge, Colorado and Artie Bryant and his wife Debra of Duncan, Oklahoma; two daughters Jeanie Roland and her husband Bill of Mineola, Texas and Patsy Beall of Bedford, Texas; eight grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren and a sister Mattie Jo Parker of Malakoff, Texas.
