Molly Jean Alston, 68, of Duncan went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, November 16th, 2010 at her home in Duncan. Services will be 10:00 AM Friday in the Bethesda Church of God with the Reverend Harold Metheny officiating. interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Jean was born January 21, 1942 at Wewoka, Oklahoma the daughter of James S. Reed Sr. and Winona Phillips Reed. She was a member of the Bethesda Church of God and loved her church family. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved going to church and having her grandchildren around her. she worked many jobs a practical nurse, unit clerk, police dispatcher and bail bondsman. She is preceded in death by her parents, four sisters Wanda Privitt, Laura Snider, Quida Burras and Shirley Reed, two brothers John and Jimmy Reed and her husband and best friend Clarence "Pete" Alston and they are together again. survivors include four daughters Tracy Moore and her husband Charles of Duncan; Karen and Gwen Alston and Deborah Wilde and her husband Gerald all of Temple, Texas; three sons Clarence Alston and his wife Detric of Duncan, Mark Alston and his Demetrice and Joel Privitt all of Temple, Texas; fifteen grandchildren Deon, Candice, Alexis, Xavier, Shay, T.J., Jamal, Tawan, Chaz, Ricky, Shane, Shawn, Dylan, Shakia and Gerald, Jr.; great grandchildren Gabriel, Ravyn, Trey, Maliyah, Kamryn and Samiyah; her brother James S.
