Michael Wayne Poage, 44, of Comanche passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 at his home. Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the Cross Brand Cowboy Church in Waurika with Reverend Bob Waitman officiating. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Comanche under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM. A memorial fund has been established at IBC Bank in Duncan to help the family with funeral expenses. Michael was born April 16, 1972 at Houston, Texas the son of Jerry Lee Poage, Sr and Patsy Webb. He graduated from the Ryan High School in 1991. He and Jordan Pritchett were married at Lawton, Oklahoma on June 29, 2009. He enjoyed ranching, doing leather work, drawing and painting, doing carpentry work, fishing, welding but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his children. He was a member of the Cross Brand Cowboy Church in Waurika. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his wife Jordan of the home; children Ashlee Horton, Cody Poage, Nichole Poage, Nathan Poage, Kain Poage and Karli Jo Poage; grandchildren Nicholas Horton, Colton Utz and Cheyenne Horton; his mother and step father Patsy and James Perry of Miami, Oklahoma; his step mother Marietta Poage of Ryan, Oklahoma; brothers and sisters LaTresa English of Gilmer, Texas, LeAnne Swager of Wyandotte, Oklahoma, Jerry Lee Poage, Jr. of Waurika, Oklahoma, Steve Poage of Ryan, Oklahoma, Bo Richards of Dallas, Texas, Angela Garofano of Midlothian, Texas, Mandy Bush of Bentonville, Arkansas, Crystal Dalton of Ryan, Oklahoma, Ronnie Stanley of Ryan, Oklahoma and Crystal Rhoades of Saginaw, Texas as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and a host of friends.
