Michael Jess Lowry

Michael "Mikey" Jess Lowry, 63, of Ada a former long time Duncan resident passed away Tuesday, April 19th, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Friday, April 22 at the Duncan Cemetery with Ron Stough officiating and Pastor Dow Pannell assisting. Services are under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 5-7 PM., Thursday evening. His parents, Jess and Opal (Sharp) Lowry were blessed with Mikey"s birth on October 3, 1952 in Duncan, Oklahoma. He worked for the Power Shop for many years in Duncan before moving to Ada in 2006. He enjoyed bowling, listening to old Gospel music and Country and Western music. He was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ. Mikey always had a smile on his face which touched many lives both in Duncan and Ada. He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous other family members. He is survived by local cousins Kay and Cliff Wallraven, Curtis and Rhonda Covington, Anita Johns and Sheryl and Mark Spradling all of Duncan and Tina and Steve McCord of Comanche, as well as many other cousins.
