Mary Alpha Bullard

Mary Alpha (Smart) Bullard, 76, of Duncan passed from this life Friday, November 10, 2017 in the Gregston Nursing Home in Marlow. Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday in the New Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Lone Grove with Reverend David Gardner officiating and LeRoy Holman assisting. Interment services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 8 AM to 8 PM on Monday at the funeral home in Duncan. Mary was born October 19, 1941 at Muskogee, Oklahoma the daughter of John E. and Bernice (Terry) Smart. She graduated from the Oktaha High School. She and Johnny Dean Bullard, Sr. were married at Muskogee, Oklahoma on March 2, 1957 and he preceded her in death on September 12, 2017. She worked as a loan officer and specialized in finding counterfeit checks. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, doing crafts and most of all loved the time she spent with her family She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Survivors include two sons Johnny Dean Bullard, Jr. and his wife Glenna, James Bullard and his wife Leisa all of Lone Grove; his daughter Terri Graham and her husband Robbie of Duncan; her brother Terry Smart and his wife Pat of Muskogee; grandchildren Chris Barton and his wife Courtney, Shannon Dutton and her husband Matt, Chere Bullard, Josh Bullard and his wife Shawna, Tara Bullard, Johnathon Fish and his wife Lynzi and Stephen Fish and his wife Courtney and fifteen great grandchildren.
