Martha Ruthalene "Rene" Smith

Martha Ruthalene "Rene" Smith, 81, of Duncan a former long time Bryan, Texas resident passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 in the Wilkins Health and Rehabilitation.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the Bryan City Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

Martha was born February 27, 1938 at Witts Springs, Arkansas the daughter of Luthor Lonzo and Martha (Harris) Sullins. She and Charles Wayne Smith were marred at Grandfield, Oklahoma in 1955. She was a homemaker and loved reading books. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers and a sister.

Survivors include her brother L.J. Sullins of Comanche; sisters Uvon Elroy of Marlow and Noval Beam of Lindsey; daughters Tammy Stavers of Chula Vista, California and Sherill Smith of Bryan, Texas.
