Lucille Bailey, 95, of Duncan went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Duncan Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in the Old Velma Cemetery with the Reverend Billy Clayburn officiating. Services are under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. Monday and 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. Tuesday at Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Lucille was born April 1, 1918 at Red Oak, Texas. She was the daughter of Burl and Nancy Dulworth. She married Opie Bridges in 1936 and he preceded her in death in 1939. They had one daughter, Lavene. She later married Tom Bailey in 1946 and he preceded her in death. They had two sons, Larry and Leo Bailey. Lucille lived her life with love and joy in her heart. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and telling stories about the old days. Lucille loved family, the outdoors, fishing, gardening, and playing the guitar. She was always a happy person with a smile on her face. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, two sisters, and a great-great grandson. Survivors include: a sister Velma Bowling of Tracy, California; a daughter Lavene Hlavaty of Duncan, two sons Larry Bailey of Duncan and Leo Bailey of Velma. Grandchildren are Sonny and Cassie Bumpas, Greg and Tara Bumpas, Sharon and Ron Miller, Eric Bumpas, Ben and Rhonda Hlavaty, Lynn Bailey, and Vicki Bailey. Great-grandchildren are Chris Bumpas, Jeremy Bumpas, Brandy Hayes, Cherokee Bumpas, Natosha Bumpas, Amber Williams, Josh Bumpas, Kyle Green, Jessica Baker, Shandi Thompson, and Cody Bumpas. She is also survived by many great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, as well as numerous friends.
