Larry Henry Vinson

Larry Henry Vinson, 70, of Perry, Oklahoma passed from this life Thursday, January 20, 2021 in the Perry Hospital. The family will receive friends for visitation from 2 to 4 on Sunday. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home with Reverend Ron Meador officiating with interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery. Larry was born July 2, 1950 in Ada, Oklahoma the son of James Henry and Wanda Lucille (Webster) Vinson. He graduated from Duncan High School in 1968. He and Sharon Kay Pruitt were married at Wichita Falls, Texas on February 12, 1970. He received a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Oklahoma State University and was the owner and operator of Vinson Landscaping in Stillwater until his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking, quilting and collecting coins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Timothy Vinson. Survivors include his wife Sharon Kay of the home in Perry, Oklahoma; sons Ricky Vinson and wife Ginger of Sulphur, Oklahoma and David Vinson of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; three grandchildren Justin, Corbin and Adley Jo Vinson all of Sulphur, Oklahoma; his brother Steve Vinson and wife Carolyn of Davis, Oklahoma and three sisters Jimmie Nell Hawkins, Pat Pennypacker and Judy Carroll and husband Wayne all of Duncan.
