Karen Joy Teel

Karen Joy Blackwell Percival Teel, 74, of Norman passed away Saturday, February 13th, 2016 in the Elk Crossing Nursing and Rehab in Duncan, Oklahoma. Karen was born October 12, 1941 at Purcell, Oklahoma the daughter of Claude and Gwendola (Wade) Blackwell. She and Dale Teel were married at Norman, Oklahoma August 31, 2001and he preceded her in death on March 15, 2008. She graduated from the Southeast Oklahoma City High School in 1959. She worked as a bank teller for the Park State Bank in Nicoma Park, Oklahoma for many years. She enjoyed She enjoyed collecting antiques, reading, and Spending time with family. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister Gwenda Jonell Orr. Survivors include her son Chris Percival and his wife Tonya of Duncan, Oklahoma; granddaughter Kaylee Percival of Duncan, Oklahoma; grandson Bennett Percival of Duncan, Oklahoma; Sister Brenda Krausse and her husband Jerry of Wetumka, Oklahoma' Iris Irwin of Moore, Oklahoma; brothers Joe Henry and wife Donna of Moore, Oklahoma and Claude Blackwell and his wife Darla of Moore, Oklahoma as well as the children and grandchildren of Dale Teel whom she considered her own.
