Julia Luvata Tole

Julia Luvata Tole, 71, of Duncan passed away Sunday, March 18th, 2012 in Duncan. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 21, 2012 in the Bailes - Polk Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Southerland officiating. Interment will be in the Duncan City Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 6 - 8 P.M. Tuesday. Julia was born November 13th, 1940 at Fairfield, California the daughter of Joe E. and Roberta Ernestine Charter. She graduated from the Smeyer High School in Smeyer, Texas. She and James E. Tole, Jr. were married at Duncan Oklahoma on July 10, 1981.She enjoyed gardening, sewing, canning reading, working puzzles and playing games as well as picking berries with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Ernestine Charter, two sisters Margie Condra and Shirley Logan, a brother Joe Edward Charter, Jr. and her mother and father-in-law Emma Lee and James Ernest Tole, Sr.. Survivors include her husband James E. Tole, Jr of the home in Duncan; her father Joe E. Charter, Sr. of Duncan; two daughters Misti Davis and her husband Joe Solomon of Duncan and Michele Michael and her husband Richard of Ardmore; two step sons Nathan Tole and his wife Joann of Duncan and Jamie Tole of Vernon, Texas; a sister Sandra Fox and her husband Jim of Tulsa; a brother Richard Charter and his wife Helen of Amarillo, Texas; two brother-in-laws Frank Condra of Ropesville, Texas and Mack Tole and his wife Gloria of Chillicothe, Texas; two sister-in-laws Louise Allen and her husband W.R. of Seminole, Texas and Patsy Tole of Quanah, Texas; a grandson Brian Tole and his wife Sarah of Duncan; six granddaughters Brandi Bunda and her husband Ryan of Edmond, Jennifer Vinson and her husband Gary of Yukon, Samantha Buckey and her husband Terry of Choctaw, Tosha Williams and her husband Joe of Duncan, Chassey Petty and her husband Stanley of Fairfield, Texas and Katie Tole of Knox City, Texas; four step granddaughters Christina McCormick and her husband Joseph of Duncan, Melonee Enos and her husband Chad Thomas of Burkburnett, Texas; Rachel Enos of Edmond; a step grandson David Solomon of Duncan; fourteen great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces nephews and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Brian Tole, Ryan Bunda, Gary Vinson, Joe Williams, Joseph McCormick and Chad Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Solomon and Richard Michael.
