Johnny Dean Bullard Sr., 81, of Duncan passed away Tuesday, September 12th, 2017in the Ardmore Veterans Center in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday in the New Hope Free Will Baptist Church at Lone Grove, Oklahoma under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 5-6 PM on Friday.
Interment services will be held 1:00 PM Monday in the Ft. Gibson National Veterans Cemetery.
Johnny was born February 10, 1936 at Beggs, Oklahoma the son of Earl and Ethel Marie (Schultzy) Bullard. He served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1958. He and Mary Alpha Smart were married at Muskogee, Oklahoma on Mach 2 1957. He was ordained as a Free Will Baptist minister in 1970 and served churches in Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas and establish the New Hope Free Will Baptist Church in Lone Grove, Oklahoma. He was a bee keeper, enjoyed hunting, gardening and especially enjoyed working with the youth in church. His main goal in life was serving the Lord and spreading God's word. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife Mary Bullard of Duncan; two sons Johnny Dean Bullard, Jr. and his wife Glenna, James Bullard and his wife Leisa all of Lone Grove; his daughter Terri Graham and her husband Robbie of Duncan; two sisters Janie Horn and her husband Bob, Linda Taylor and her husband Gerald all of Muskogee; grandchildren Chris Barton and his wife Courtney, Shannon Dutton and her husband Matt, Chere Bullard, Josh Bullard and his wife Shawna, Tara Bullard, Johnathon Fish and his wife Lynzi and Stephen Fish and his wife Courtney and fifteen great grandchildren.
