Jo Ann Montague

Jo Ann Hunt Montague, 83, of Duncan passed away Sunday August 16, 2020 in the Elk Crossing Nursing and Rehabilitation.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Cremation services are under the direction of the Bailes- Polk Funeral Home.
Jo Ann was born May 26, 1937 in Pineville, Kentucky the daughter of Harry A. and Ellen (Woods) Hunt. She and Dan Wagner, Jr. were married in June of 1955 and he was killed in action during Vietnam on December 15, 1967, She later married George H. Montague on June 27, 1977 in Spokane, Washington and he preceded her in death on July 9, 2013. She worked as an LPN for the Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, owned and operated a children store in Hawaii, enjoyed volunteering with the Duncan Little Theater and was a member of the Westside Christian Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, a son, two step-sons, and a sister.
Survivors include her son Rodney Wagner of Duncan, Oklahoma; daughter Dana Lynn Fouse of Nixa, Missouri; two step-sons Larry and Kerry Montague both of Washington and a sister Patty Lyons of Louisville, Kentucky.
