Jirldean "J.D." Lumbert, 83, of Countyline, Oklahoma passed away Friday, September 2nd, 2016 in the Duncan Regional Hospital. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, September 7, 2016 in the Pooleville, Cemetery Reverend Rocky Keck officiating under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 5 - 7 PM on Wednesday. J.D. was born October 27, 1932 at Carnagie, Oklahoma the son of Levi B. and Leona Pearl (Welch) Lumbert. He and Rosa Bell Bingham were married at Lawton, Oklahoma on March 11, 1955 and she preceded him in death on January 1, 1985. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from June 12, 1953 to July 24, 1954. He was the owner of Lumberts Garage and Salvage in Countyline, loved training horses, working cattle, fishing and working on cars. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one brother Robert "Butch" Lumbert, one sister Maxine McClanahan and a grandson Dennis Jade Lumbert. Survivors include five sons Jimmy Lumbert of Countyline; William Butler Lumbert of Foster; Raymond Lumbert of Alma; Ronnie Lumbert of Countyline and Randell Lumbert and his wife Amanda of Marlow; two daughters Rosa Moore and her husband Gary of Venus, Texas and Patricia Johnson and her husband Greg of Fox; a brother Levi Lumbert and his wife Barbara of Pearsall, Texas; two sisters Francine Norman and her husband Johnny of Hennipen and Freda Bingham and her husband Johnny of Bray; 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
