Jerry Lyn Cox, 73, of Duncan passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at his home in Duncan. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Friday in the Cowboy Church on Refinery Road with Reverend William Moore officiating. Lyn was born July 27, 1940 at Comanche, Oklahoma the son of Melvin and Clara (Hilderbrand) Cox. He graduated from the Comanche High School in 1958. He worked as a mechanic for Halliburton Energy Services. He attended the Cowboy Church and enjoyed going to sales and collecting antiques. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his son Todd Cox of Plano, Texas; his daughter Amy White of Marlow, his grandson Jarrod Gamble and his wife Lacey of Norman, his granddaughter Savanna White of Marlow, his brother Dale Cox of Meridian and two nieces Diane Fancher and Judy Cox both of Comanche.
