Jeffery Allen Mayes

Jeffery Allen "Jeff" Mayes, 52, of Yukon, Oklahoma went to be with is Lord and Savior Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 6, 2010 in the New Hope Baptist Church West with Reverend Randy Southerland and Reverend Forrest Weast officiating. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Comanche under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Jeff was born September 20, 1958 at Mansfield, Arkansas the son of Doug and Dorthy Price Mayes. He graduated from the Comanche High School in 1977. He and Patty Jan Weast were married at on August 24, 1990 and they had just celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father and a son Roy Allen Mayes. He is survived by his wife Patty Jan Mayes of the home in Yukon, a son Ricky Dale Mayes; three step children Lance Wiitti and Dennis Lopez of Edmond, Quinn and Greg Blair of Comanche and Misty and Ben Scott of Holdenville; four grandchildren Caitlyn and Briar Blair and Tommy and Presley Scott; his mother Dorthy Mayes of Duncan six brothers and sisters Ginger Walters of Duncan, David and Kathy Reynolds of Granbury, Texas, Terry and Rena Mayes of Comanche, Randy Mayes of Duncan, Carol and Jeff Demaray of Oklahoma City, and Michael and Sarah Mayes of Meridian as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
