Jason Robert Wimberly

Jason Robert Wimberly, 32 of Comanche passed away Saturday, June 18th, 2011 at his home in Comanche. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday in the Corum Baptist Church with Reverend Bruce Humphries officiating. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Comanche. The Family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Wednesday. Jason was born October 22, 1978 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma the son of Terry Chandler Rushing and Steven Wimberly. He graduated from the Wynnewood High School in 1997. He and Michelle Armstrong were married at Corum, Oklahoma on May 8, 1999. He loved fishing with his son Kain, drawing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his sister Mandy and an Uncle Leroy. Survivors include his wife Michelle of the home in Comanche; his son Kain Wimberly of the home in Comanche; father Steven Wimberly of Wynnewood; his mother and step-father Terry and Luke Rushing of Wynnewood; a brother Tyler Rushing of Wynnewood; grandparents Bobby Jack and Betty Chandler of Wynnewood; father and mother in law John and Ann Armstrong of Duncan as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
