Janet (Dottie) Clayton, 84, of Duncan passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 in the Gregston Nursing and Rehabilitation in Marlow.
Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home in Duncan with Reverend Harold Metheny officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery at Comanche.
Visitation will begin Tuesday and the family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Wednesday.
Janet was born July 11, 1935 at Comanche, Oklahoma the daughter of Virtis and Mable (Salmon) Barton. Her favorite thing to do was making crafts. She sold them all over town for much less than they were worth. She said the money wasn't what was important. She just loved making them. She was married to the late Robert Clayton who was a master wood craftsman and he taught her all about wood which expanded her craft ideas. She was preceded in death her husband Robert Clayton, two infant sons, son Kim Null, daughter Debbie Conder and 9 siblings.
Survivors include her daughter Tammie Stovall of Duncan, Oklahoma; grandchildren Jennifer young, Brandi Lott and husband Steven and Christopher Randall; great grandchildren Briana Perez and husband Victor, Shelby Covington, Evelyn Ely, Ariona White and husband Josh, Rebecca Conder, Tucker Lipkin, Charlie Lott, Paetyn Randall and Kaelin Randal; great great grandchildren Colt and Alicia Perez and Carson, Chloe, Caroline and Cash White.
