James William "Jim" Tolleson, II, 50, of Duncan passed away Saturday, September 8th, 2012 at his home in Duncan. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the Dixie Cemetery with the Reverend Randy Southerland officiating. Services are under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Jim was born April 2, 1962 at Tucson, Arizona the son of James William and Betty Glyn Dobson Tolleson. He graduated from the South Grand Prairie High School in Grand Prairie, Texas. He work for several years as a deputy for the Dallas County Sheriffs Department and retired from the Dallas Fire Department in 2004. He was a jokester, loved to fish and travel and love his dogs especially Nelson. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church and was a Master Mason. He was preceded in death by his father James William Tolleson, Sr. Survivors include his mother Betty Tolleson of Loco, Oklahoma; two brothers Jerry Southerland of Duncan, Oklahoma and Richard Glenn Tolleson of Mansfield, Texas; two sisters Dawn Lynette Rutherford of Arlington, Texas and Kimberly Ann Cooke of Grand Prairie, Texas; four nephews J.W. Cooke, Ryan Rutherford, Jason Tolleson and Justin Tolleson; a niece Maegan Morgan and a great niece Brooke Morgan. Online condolences may be made at www.bailespolk.com
