James Rodney "Rod" Isham, 70, of Duncan passed away Sunday, June 16th, 2019 in the Duncan Regional Hospital.
Memorial services will be 1:00 PM Friday in the Ray of Hope Church with Reverend Mile McCord officiating. Services are under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.
Rod was born July 30, 1948 at Danville, Arkansas the son of Jack and Lavada Jean (Kitchens) Isham. He and Phyllis Elaine Knott were married at Duncan, Oklahoma on February 9, 1967. He graduated from the Duncan High School in 1967 and served in the United States Air Force. He worked as an instrument technician in the oil and gas industry retiring from the Atlas Oil Company. He enjoyed music and played numerous musical instruments, owned and operated Rod's Guitars on Highway 81, enjoyed playing golf and most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife Phyllis Isham of the home in Duncan; his daughter Kristen Webb and her husband Charles of Duncan; grandson Jarod Webb of Duncan; brothers Jack Isham and his wife Evelyn of Charlotte, North Carolina and Rick Isham and his wife Beth of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister Renee Walker and her husband Kenny of Kilgore, Texas and well as numerous friends.
