JAMES JASON CARR MORENO James Moreno went home to be with the Lord on July 30, 2011, in the Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with his son and family gathered around him at the age of 51 years, 4 mo and 22 days. Memorial service were held in Chickasha, OK at the Full Gospel Church located at 722 North 10th with Rev. Kenneth Brooks of Duncan and Pastor Alice Wendling of Chickasha, Ok officiating. James Jason Carr Moreno will be laid to rest in the Rest-haven Cemetery in Silsbee, Texas where his mother Helen Moreno is buried. James Jason Carr Moreno was born in Mcallen, Texas on March 8,1960 to Helen {Carr} Moreno, and Alfonzo Ortega Moreno. James attended Silsbee high in Silsbee Tx, and went on to art college in New york . James was a full believer of backing up the veterans and donated to their service. He is proceeded in death by his Mother Helen Moreno; one sister; and one brother Paul Moreno. James was known as Jimmy to all his friends and family, Uncle Nimbo to his neices and nephews. James was a resident of Duncan for the past 16 years. James liked to draw, loved his Indian Heritage, and his dog Artie who for seven years was his best friend. Survivors include his son Johnathan Moreno of Grayson Kentucky; his father Alfonzo Ortega Moreno of Silsbee, Texas; four grandchildren Dakota Carr, Kyle Carr, Lexi Carr, and Kamryn Carr all of Grayson Kentucky; four brothers Patrick Cannon and wife of Chickasha, OK, Jr Moreno of Silsbee, Texas, George Moreno and wife of Port Arthur, Texas and Joe Moreno and wife of Silsbee, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
