James Emil Kaspereit, 85 of Duncan passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 in the Country Club Care Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Duncan First Baptist Church with Reverend Brian Payne officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
James was born January 10, 1934 at Walters, Oklahoma the son of Emil and Fronie (Wilkerson) Kaspereit. He and Annie Mae Richardson were married May 9, 1954 at Comanche, Oklahoma. He was a member, Deacon, usher and Sunday School Director for the Duncan First Baptist Church, a member of the Duncan Optimist Club, and owner of James Used Cars and Kaspereit Auto Parts until retiring in January of 1997. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Irene Merritt and Dorothy Moody.
Survivors include his wife Annie Mae Kaspereit of the home in Duncan; sons David Kaspereit and his wife Deborah of Oklahoma City, Larry Kaspereit and his wife Carla and Harold Kaspereit and his wife Patti of Duncan, daughter Catherine Bowers and husband Steve of Oklahoma City; a brother Herman Kaspereit of Duncan; sister Vina Joan Kaspereit of Arkansas; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Grandson.
