Hortencia Mejia

Hortencia G. Mejia, 67, of Duncan passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 in the Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Services will be 10:00 AM Monday in the Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Hortencia was born July 31, 1946 at Durango, Mexico the daughter of Jose and Nicannora (Lopez Gomez. She and Inocencio Majia V were married May 2, 1964. She was a faithful member of the Assumption Catholic Church, enjoyed crocheting, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents a son Jose Mejia, a sister Francisca and a brother Raul Gomez. Survivors included her husband Inocencio Mejia; two sons Venancio Mejia and Raul Mejia; daughters Aurelia Mejia, Dora Mejia, Monse Mejia and Lupe Mejia; brothers Jose Gomez, Arnulfo Gomez and Atanacio Gomez; sisters Guillermina Gomez, Rosa Gomez, Felizitaz Gomez and Saledad Gomez; thirty two grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Inocencio Mejia, Benjamin Mejia, Victor Gomez, Johnathan Gomez, Jimmy Mejia, Giovanni Mejia, Edgar Sierra and Tyler Earls. Online condolences may be made at www.bailespolk.com
