Bailes - Polk Funeral Home 910 W. Oak Duncan, Oklahoma 73533 (580) 255-5252 Harold Utah Brown, 80, of Duncan passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at his home in Duncan. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday in the Immanuel Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Leveridge officiating. Service are under the direction of the Bailes-Polk funeral home. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Harold was born September 18, 1929 at Chattanooga, Oklahoma the son of Lewis and Martha Rosetta Brooks Brown. He attended the Velma, Duncan and Bellevue, Texas Schools. He and Nila Faye Andrews were married December 31, 1963 at Wichita Falls, Texas. He came to Duncan in 1991 from Dallas where he had worked in the commercial construction industry. In 2005 he moved to the Sulphur area and came back to live full time in Duncan in 2009. He was a member of the Sulphur First Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping and the outdoors, building things, ranching and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters. Survivors include his wife Faye Brown of the home; a daughter Shannon Leah Truax of Duncan; three sons Robert Dale Brown of Mabank, Texas, Randy Lynn Brown of Denver, Colorado; Danny Lewis Brown of Duncan, Ok; four grandchildren Ren Contreras, Olivia Kate Contreras, Lucas Utah Contreras and Danica Nicole Contreras all of Duncan; three step grandchildren Emerson Archer of Denver, Colorado, Amber Hughes and Travis Truax, Jr. both of Duncan; one brother Wendell Brown of Duncan and a sister Joyce Walker of Duncan.
