Ginger Kay Walters

Ginger Kay (Reynolds) Walters, 62, of Duncan passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 in the Duncan Regional Hospital.

Services will be 2:00 PM Monday in the Parkview Baptist Church with Ronnie Roskam officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 3-5 PM on Sunday.

Ginger was born July 13, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the daughter of Dorothy Price and R.D. Reynolds. She graduated from the Comanche High School in 1972. She and Greg Gilmore were married at Duncan, Oklahoma on May 17, 1972 and he preceded her in death on July 2, 1979. She enjoyed reading her Bible, playing computer games, writing, working outside and especially spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father who raised her Doug Mayes and a brother Jeff Mayes.

Survivors include her father R.D. Reynolds of Meeker, Oklahoma; her mother Dorothy Mayes of Duncan; sons Chris Taylor of Duncan, William Taylor of Marlow and Addison Taylor, IV of San Antonio, Texas; daughter Misty Gilmore of Chickasha; brothers David Reynolds of Granberry Texas, Terry Mayes of Comanche, Randy Mayes of Duncan and Michael Mayes of Comanche; sister Carol Ann Demaray of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Trent Taylor, Micheal Spanhanks, Chance Taylor, Mitchal Caudill, Donnie Wade and Chris Wade.
