Georgia Inez Webb

October 6, 1917 — February 15, 2014

Georgia Inez Webb, 96, of Duncan passed away Saturday, February 16, 2014 in the Quality Care Hospice Center in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Christian Center with Reverend James Miller officiating interment will be in the Duncan Cemetery under the direction of the Bailes-Polk Funeral Home. Inez was born October 6, 1917 at Keene, Texas the son of George S. and Mary (Bell) Hawthorne. She and E.V. Webb married July 14, 1937 at Glen Rose, Texas and he preceded her in death in 1975. She was a home maker and member of the Seventh Day Advent Church. She enjoyed Gardening and playing cards with the Canasta Club. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter Mary Sue Shelton; granddaughter Mendy L. Lee; Sisters Zelpha Juliaett Vecera and Margaret Emma Skwarlo; brothers Vernon S. Hawthorne and George Hawthorne, Stephen Hawthorne. Survivors include her sons Jack M. Webb and Eugene V. Webb, Jr.; daughters Juretta C. Webb and Cynthia Denise Evans; grandsons Timothy Q. Gardner and David B. Gardner, Troy G. Webb, Gabriel B. Pack and Cody B. Brown; Granddaughters Stacy A. Hackler, Kendra J. White, Marketia L. Sykes, Aundrea R. Lillard and Heather L. Patterson, Tiffany M. Turner; and sisters Mae Bell Smith and Muriel E. Deham. 20 Great Grand-Children, 5 Great-Great Children, 1 Great-Great-Great Children. Pallbearers will be Bradley Turner, David Richards, Dick Fennel, Troy Webb, Nathan Carrio and Orson Sykes.
